A new approach to dust shoes where you do not have the vacuum hose connection in front of the spindle. It is connected in the back.
You do not need to remove or dismantle anything but the brush ring to change bits. And the dust hose interferes with nothing at front of the machine.
The dust hose arrives fully assembled. Select a brush ring for 1/2", 4/3", and 1" cutting length bits.
For 4" hoses. The dust shoe adds 5" to the depth of the machine.
